Feeding the Hungry

St. Peter’s FEED THE HUNGRY PROGRAM:  Jesus said: “Feed my Sheep”. Can you spare an hour or two once a month to help feed the hungry in our community? We are looking for shoppers for our Feed the Hungry Program. Our group shops and delivers food to two local outreach centers: Haven House (a respite center for abused women and children) and Helping Hand Rescuer Mission (for its Thursday noon meal for the homeless and its Saturday Morning “Happy Day Express” which feeds breakfast and lunch to needy children).  We are especially in need of shoppers for the Saturday “Happy Day Express” Program. If you are interested or have questions, please speak with Jane Maresco at 631-385-9737 or email her at jcmdoer@verizon.net
